Yearly toad pictures

I seem to take photos of at least one toad each year. We live in the middle of a subdivision but have TONS of toads every year in all different sizes.

This year's toad:

Last year's toad (which i posted a series of photos of as well)

The biggest we have seen is about 4 inches from nose tip to butt tip.

Great pictures Marisa....

I haven't seen a toad since I've lived here in the city. This coming from someone who gave CPR to a frog when she was eight. I miss them...lucky you!

These guys are not only numerous around here, they are aggresive. A few weeks back my roomate thought it would be a long shot, but decided to feed one of the toads a nightcrawler out of her fingers....she was kinda laughing and not paying attention because she figured he would hop off.....instead he NAILED it!!!! Scared the crap outta her. HAHAHA...and they are always hopping right up to us at night on the porch. No fear at all anymore.

Thanks for looking, I like taking photos of the toads. The don't move much if you don't bother them.
