Smile Gettysburg trip

Well, I went to Gettysburg this weekend. Despite the scorching heat, it wasn't too bad. I saw two eastern leopard frogs, and a caught a toad. No snakes or lizards. Anyway, I wanted to say that it rained like there was no tomorrow on Friday, and thousands and thousands of cicadas came out from the ground. They climbed the trees and "hatched" out of their shells and started to fly on Saturday. Did anyone else see any cicatas this year?

I just went to Hickory Run state park. Lots of deer, rabbits, and ground hogs. I saw 2 garter snakes and an unidentified one (it went into a dark crevice). I caught a corn snake, tadpoles, green frog, spring peeper, tiger salamander, a toad, and dozens of red back salamanders. Sorry, no pics.
