frozen feeder lizards?

i don't think that i will have any luck with this thread, but i have been buying live green anoles and house geckos to feed my pacific tree boa for many months, and i was hoping that perhaps i could find someone that knows where i could purchase frozen feeder lizards, hopefully for cheaper than the 5 to 6 bucks or more that i have been paying for live ones. oh ya, the seller should really be in canada, too. thanks. ciao

yeah, but it takes too long to get just one or two lizards from each clutch....

How often do they breed? Is there a way to trick them into speed breeding?

i think they breed year round, but for me it would be more convenient to just buy the suckers, dead or alive... i just couldn't be bothered keeping them to breed for food at this point. maybe in the future, when i have more than one lizard eater, i will keep a few tanks full of anole and just let them do what comes natural, which is about how hard it is to breed em...

naja, have you tried lizard maker? the liquid you put onto rodents to trick many snakes into feeding them...i used it on my hognose snake, he didn't eat for 5 months when i got him but once i started using lizard maker he was chowing down on rodents every time i fed them to him. but incase you havn't tried that i highly recomend it, will save you all these problems and lots of money

lizard maker is ok for species of snake that aren't negitavely affected by a rodent diet. some snakes have problems with the liver when fed rodents only...

thanks, michelle, but i really think that i would rather keep him and his friends whom are soon to come on a natural lizard diet, with the odd frog thrown in for good measure. though, you know, come to think of it, i have read that they are also supposed to eat some small rodents and birds as well, so maybe with a little persuasion, i could further expand his diet, eh? i do know that these snakes are not adversely affected by a rodent diet, as most people do feed them on rodents... so, i think i will grab a bottle, just to have, and i am sure it will come in handy... i will have to order it online or maybe from a pet shop, though, as i have not seen it anywhere.... so again, thanks, but i would still like to find a supply of frozen feeder anoles (or house geckos), if it exists! ciao....

www.lllreptile.com sells feeder geckos and anoles I think. Not frozen though.
