Do Boa's benefit from being outside?

I take my UV needing herps outside now that it is nice and warm. I wondered about the snakes. Would the natural UV benefit them in any way?

Not at all. Because most snakes (including boa constrictors) are nocturnal, they do not require UV at all, and there is very little evidence to support any benefit for it at all.

My vet warned that snakes can actually get sunburned quite easily. *shrug*

Snakes tend to get more aggressive than normal when exposed to sunlight... also the same applies for neighours when exposed to snakes...(they get aggressive and make trouble)
Keep em both inside!!

I dont know about being more aggressive when outside...but whenever i take pictures of them i take them outside...because the colors and picture quality is much better outside.

My ball python seems too love it outside very active and curious of everything going on, which is rare for my ball, although she probably is just looking for a nice spot too hide, its good exercise for her.

I like to bring mine outside in the very early morning (1-5am) and stick them in a small tree for a while. It gives them exercise, it's not too hot and there is no one outside to say "is that a snake???" (no kid, it's an elephant)
