Not trying to be a jerk, but what if the boa wants to be cool and hide at the same time? Basically, your choosing what temperature your boa hides at right now.

LOL! I want a pic in a year or two when that room is full of enclosures and snakes all over the place. They are like tattoos, you can't stop at one...or two...hundred

It looks like the waterbowl is taking over the entire warm side. There should be room for a hide (even something so simple as crumpled newpaper) on both sides.

I wouldn't recommend putting i under the hide box, that's opposite of the heat lamp. If both sides were heated there would be no gradient...just alot of warmth :firestart

i have the same size cage with an undertank as well. my hide is on the opposite side though and i have a branch set up for basiking under the hot spot and i put a piece of plexiglass over the top for good humidity. works very well.
