i feel really dumb asking about this...
Okay, I noticed that for some peoples signatures , they put like numbers such as 4.3 (insert latin name for snake here). But what does the number mean? I dont own any snakes and just dont understand what it means at all. I appreciate any replies.. but please dont make me feel any dumber then i already do for askin the question. thanks

In your example, 4= 4 males and the 3= 3 females. Sometimes you may see 0.0.1 and that means 0 males, 0 females and 1 unsexed or undetermined. Hope this helps. I used to not know either. And I was so confused.

why numbers, why don they jsut write female ball python??? Is it to long?, so they do that by shortening the name?

yeah, look at some people's signatures, they have like 4.3 ball python
compared to 4 male ball pythons and 3 female ball pythons...imagine some people that have upwards of 50+ specimins...their sig would go on forever

exactly.
one male bp, one female bp, one female motley amel, one male w.hognose, and one male borneo STP.....
compared to
1.1bp, 0.1 motley amel, 1.0 w.hognose, 1.0 Borneo STP
plus there is a 4 line limit in the sigs

Oh wow.. I would have never guessed thats what those numbers stood for. Thanks so much for informing me, it now makes sense. I have been tryin to figure them out since i started posting here and I just decided to ask. LoL I gave up.  Thanks, once again.
