Timmy the tortoise dies aged 160

According to the BBC NEWS, Wednesday, 7 April, 2004, " Timmy the tortoise dies aged 160 "

It's amazing how long he lived, it's enough to make one cry to read of his passing.

Just think of all that happened during his life. When he hatched, there were no cars. When he died, we were exploring Mars. And all that happened in between - the world changed so much. Even though he didn't see it, he lived through it.
