that seems like a long way for a little robin to go. all the way across the Atlantic? i think it must have been on a ship from here in the US. like a stowaway(sp?). but that really would suck. poor little robin.

sketchy, if they get caught in the jet stream and keep flying with a tailwind it wouldn't be too bad of a trip.
It moves at 100 to 200km/h over Canada, and I think it might get faster over the Atlantic. Not sure though.
Having a 200 km/h tailwind to speed you along sure wouldn't hurt though

That reminds me of a bizzare event in a pigeon race (homing pigeons) in the uk. The brits call it a sport, but that's like calling dog racing or cow patty bingo a sport. The winner landed at the finish line only to be eaten by a cat.
