Fridge Incubator

I finally decided to sacrifice my beer fridge and turn it into an incubator. It took me a while to decide which addiction was more destructive. I chose reptiles so now thats where I'm focusing my efforts. Hehe.

So, let the fun begin. What is the best way to do this? It's a rather large mini fridge- 21" x 21" x 33" Should I use an aquarium heater? Light bulbs? Heat pads/tape?" I remember seeing a thread on this a while ago, but couldn't find it. If somebody could give me the link that would be awesome. Are there any websites about how to do this? I will be sure to take pics along the way and post them. No digicam, so they will be delayed a bit, but oh well. Thanks for your help in advance.

P.S. It will be used for beardie and leo eggs, probably corn snake and Phelsuma eggs in the future.

I would avoid doing any serious modification, that way you can use the fridge for bumation/keeping beer cold when you're not incubating.

Ooh, now theres an idea. Would it be difficult to keep it as a working fridge in the off season?

I don't imagine you'd have to do any drastic modifications to it. Piece of plexiglass w/ heat tape and a thermostat and that's it. Use rubbermaids and don't do much drilling, etc and that could work. Plug in heat tape during incubation season - Plug in fridge during beer season...

How should I orient the heat tape in the fridge? Along the back wall from top to bottom? Along the bottom? Should I use 11" or 4"? Do I need a fan for circulation?
