Opinions please
Just wanted to get your guys opinion on Fred's Size, weight and as much as you can tell from a picture if he looks healthy.
He is 6 - 8 months old aprx., eating 50 - 75 gram rats. Weighs 300 grams, seems active, has a great temperament and the only medical problem I had was a case of mites which I cleared up immediately. I thought his tail was a little disproportioned to the rest of his body, but that's most likely me just being over paranoid again. He is housed in a 50 gallon tank with a cool side of 80 - 85 (there is one corner of the tank which is covered by leaves which drops to 77 on occasion, but I'm going to fix that by getting a bigger UTH.) and a hot side of 90 - 95. Surface temps are provided by UTH and I have 2 heat lamps with red bulbs to keep the ambient air temps up, they are usually very steady between 80 - 88 but occasionally because of the winter it has dropped below 80 but not for much longer then a few hours. Daylight is provided by natural sunlight, the tank is right beside a window. Humidity is kept between 60 - 70%. All temps are measured by digital thermometers and hydrometers. Surface temps are measured by a temp gun. Any and all opinions would be greatly appreciated, if he’s too small, looks sickly, or even if you think he's just fine. Just want to make sure everything is running smoothly.

He or She (haven't had it sexed) hasn't had a bowel movement or urinated in aprox a month and 1 week. I thought that might be the case but I just figured that he'd go to the bathroom whenever he's ready. I was also thinking that if he was constipated that his temperament would change. Still friendly as ever, attitude hasn't changed one bit. But that's why I'm asking here, you guys have a better idea then I would, this being my first Ball an all.

When you originally mentioned that you had a 300g 8 month old snake, I thought he would look like hell. To my surprise, he looks plump and healthy! (I'm assuming he's a he because a female would be much bigger, even if she was a bad eater) Don't worry about the pooping, if he's not eating much he won't poop for you.

Hmmm....he/she looks very healthy, but are you sure she/he could be as old as 8 months?? Mine was born around early June and makes a $20 look like a $1
(I suppose I could have broke out a $20 for size comp as well)
But here again...I don't know if he's a he or a she!
All I know is I love him/her to death!
Good luck with yours, whatever it's sex may be!

Didn't have any Canadian bills cause I'm getting some US money together for my trip to Cuba, couldn't think of anything else to use as a comparison :P Besides all bills are the same length, just happened to be the one I pulled outta my wallet.
Jathoma
Not 100% sure, when I got him (i'm going with him until told otherwise) was told he was maybe 6 months old. They didn't have an exact date, I got him on Dec 5th 2003, so I'm guesstimating that he is somewhere between 6 - 8 months. Your guy is looking great too.
Mykee
That's the thing, he is eating like a horse. Every 7 days he is out looking for more, hasn't missed a feeding yet, except during the time when he had mites. He was on pinkie rats up untill 3 weeks ago, has put on 100 grams since then. I fed him 2 days ago and he took a 75 gram rat. I've got another 75 gram rat lined up for him this Wednesday.
Mangler
No way man, what you taking aboot, he's 100% Canadian, eh!
Emroul
Thanks, it's good to know that things are going well.
