Question shedding

my ball python is having a really tough shed. i had to take him to the vet to get his eyecaps off. i put him in a bath and that got most of the skin off, but there is still some left on the top of his head about a quarter down his back. should i take it off myself or let him do it?

thanks, matt

Put him in a damp towel in a rubbermaid (with holes drilled in the sides) over night.
Next time he goes into shed, mist him on a daily baises and cover up half his sc reen top (if you have him in a glass aquarium with a screen top) with a damp towel.

You need a hygrometer (measures humidity) for the next shed, place it 1/3 from teh bottom and don't let it go below 80% during the snakes blue phase, and 60% the rest of the time.
