I know! She is much lighter than my male and has tons of pink on her sides and belly. She is gorgeous, but very hissy, lol!

Looks like you got yourself a sweet little hypo sonoran! Good luck with her, I'm hoping I get a couple in this year's clutch! That is definitely _not_ a normal!

Really? Hmm, that would be pretty cool! I have not heard of hypo Sonorans before! My male is much darker in contrast:

Yep, they are out there-just not seen very often. Your male is definitely a normal, and that female is more than likely a hypo with those light colors. You'll be able to tell more when they are each about 2 to 3 years old-that is when the REAL color change begins.

Even those two silver ones I had are starting to darken, slowly. They'll probably start to turn brown/gold pretty soon-but they are going to their new owner's in a couple weeks so I'm going to miss that part.

That light one sure is a beauty. I'm really hoping my female is gravid-the male won't leave her alone-and mebbe I'll get me some interesting ones this year.

I'm hoping this girl goes for me next year:

She is a 2001, 3 feet long, calm as hell, and much more orange than my adult pair, which are both 4-5 year olds. I've been tracing her information and believe she may actually be a tarahumara, rather than an average sonoran considering her saddle counts and markings are slightly different when compared side-by-side with my sonorans. Her color changes are also more vast-she'll change from bright red to tan right before your eyes!

Wow! Very nice! Your little female is going to be GORGEOUS when she gets older. I also really like the dark colouration on your male.
