They're awesome! I don't know what it is but like Brazilian Rainbow boas they get lighter at night.

Don't know about that... my hog doesn't seem to go by that da- dark, night - light cycle... this pic was taken at about 3:00 pm...

I find the colour change happens due to their mood and body temps.

linds i know what you mean i picked up peanut coz she was awesome and impulse got me lol
this 1 wasnt an impulse but i plan on getting a 2004 male for her this year.
unless of course i decide to sell her off lol never know anythings possible.

Hog ISland color change
Hi,
my female seems to be light during the day and real dark late at nite.
Here's a late nite shot. Same girl
The breeder says she's a Sear Orange that had lots of grey, the color comes from the angle of the light off the scales similar a prisim effect??
