In the dark about feeders
Actually it's about feeders in the dark. What do you know about light cycles for mice, rats, and crickets? I have my crickets in a rubbermaid with only air/circulation holes. My mice and rats are in a room with light on a timer because my corn snakes were in there too. I moved them today and was wondering if I need to keep the lights on during the day.

I keep my breeders/feeders near a window, if it's good enough for me, it's good enough for them.

No windows in that room. It would be completely dark if I kept the door closed.

No light should not affect rats or mice. If they've infested a building, (like your house) they're living inside the walls and between the florrs anyway. No light there.

darkness doesn't bother them, switch from crix to roaches for better feeders.

I'd keep your feeders in the dark...simply because rats and mice are more comfortable that way and it suits their eyes. Too much light can actually be blinding for them. I keep my guys in the dark unless i am in the room of course and they seem to love it. If you are worried....give them a night light :med2teeth

I'm no expert but i think every living creature needs ocasionally natural sun light to keep their skin healthy. For the mice i have them in a sunny place but at the same time not hot and i have for them a dark house so they can rest from the sun light, i think this is imprtant to do so that their babyes will be more helthier there for when the snake will eat them, the snake can have more nutreans.

That is the most ridiculous sentence I have ever read. The spelling errors are quite shocking..lol
