Wal-Mart

I've seen a few posts where digital thermometers are available at Wal-Mart. Can anyone narrow down where in Wal-mart I might find them (last time I was there it was kind of a big store and I'll be looking for a relatively small item). I.e. are they in the pet dept or home improvement, housewares, where?

You can find them in the 'home improvement area' , by the paints, lighting, plumbing and so on. You will see as well regular thermometers and other related items next to them. They range in price from ~ $10- $30. Some come with indoor and outdoor temp gauges, humidty reading and time..etc etc....

Every Wal-Mart is the same....lol.

Just go to the 'home blah blah blah area' and ask an employee to show ya...makes it very simple.

I buy a lot of my herp supplies at Wal-Mart. Sterilite tubs, thermometers, rat food, aspen shavings (still the most decent price in town), tape, sometimes other substrate, etc etc....

I just go by value and quality, and a lot of the time they carry the same products as other stores, but with a better price tag. I do a lot of shopping around with what there is locally, and they fair out well with what is available.

I'd have to agree...Walmart is a great place to get supplies.
My friend got some mite killer for a fraction of the price of the petstore brands and every bit as effective.
Not to mention tons rubbermaid items in so many sizes.

There are Wal-Marts in Canada Lisa?! I rarely frequent the place myself, if ever. I'd rather give my business to local small business owners, even if that means I pay a few dollars more.

Why? I get a lot of my stuff at walmart, like rubbermaids, misters, ect. Why wouldn't you get your stuff from there?
