New turtles! PICS!

O.k. the two new turtles got dropped off tonight! Both are R.E.S.

One is very small. Maybe an inch or two. The other is larger, the size of a small hamburger or so. I think the larger one is a male and the smaller one is just too small to tell anything. They have some obvious but minor fungus on them, and their tank/filters/rocks were just filthy.

Pic of tank and turtles when they got here (Gross!!!):

Smaller turtle:

Bigger turtle:

We put them in a 40 tank with clean water and basking spot with lights. They jumped in right away.

We are gonna give them salt baths a few times and keep them here awhile, then I will start looking for new homes. Thanks for looking!

Thanks guys! They both started basking within like 15 minutes of being in there, although the larger one is REALLY shy. The smaller one has no problem begging already, basking and swimming/climbing all over the place. Both ate like pigs already as well!!!

Couple more pics!

Smaller guy floating on a fake lily pad:

Thats very good that you rescued them, their old tank looks disgusting and has very little water, your setup looks much better.
