I'd have to agree with SD-SNAKE. If Ball Pythons were capable of laying as many eggs as a Burmese Python, Albino BP's would be ALOT cheaper (not as cheap as, because there's a catch) because more can be produced to supply the demand.
Same thing goes with Albino Colombian Boa Constrictors. Except production of Albino CBC's, although great in number per litter compared to per clutch of BP's, can't really keep up with the demand. They far outprice Albino Burms but they're not normally as expensive as Albino BP's.
And the catch. DEMAND as emroul stated. With the plethora of morphs already available in Ball Pythons, the Albino is a staple ingredient for morphs already, and currently being, contemplated by breeders. People want them. They want to take the chance for that 1 in 16 snake in DH breedings and maybe even that 1 in 64 snake in TH breedings. Whew! And, that comes at a cost. $2300-$3000 USD/snake to be more exact.
And I'm only speaking of the T- type!
