Then and now ...
Well, last Christmas we took in an injured BCI - big bump on her nose!
I was just looking at an old photo of her face, and thought I'd share some then and now shots... She's mostly ok, but wheezes a lot when she's moving around. We can't help thinking there's a permanent blockage in her nostril or something, but she seems happy enough!
Then...
And Now...
Thanks for looking,
Briggy

Wow, great transformation! What was the bump?

Wow she is a great looking snake. She has very nice colour. As for the wweezing, have you had her to the vet to check for a possible RI? Or maybe there is someting in there that can be removed.
Cheers,
Trevor

Thanks guys.
Yes, we had her to the vet at the time, and she had every test imaginable, and a course of antibiotics too. Her breathing was VERY bad at the time, mouth hanging open, etc.
It settled down over a couple of weeks, and now she just has this background 'condition'.
Oh and the bump was the result of an apparent mishap, when the person we got her from had her in a box. upon which a pile of other boxes fell! We guess some must have fallen on her, and if they were heavy enough to knock the lid of her box, and bash her nose, then I think she had a lucky escape.
That and the fact she then spent two weeks (from Christmas to January!!! Brrr!), in a cold storage room, before she was found!
I'll say no more, but the 'culprit' was left in no doubt that my bf was somewhat not happy. Understatement of the century there...
Anyway, we love her to bits, and she has a lovely temperament, if a bit on the lazy side!!! LOL!
Cheers,
Briggy
