yeah, thats blood. Its from the rat though. It was FT, and the nose was a little bloody. the last 2 pictures are actually before I cleaned out his paper towel. It was soaked from the rat. I had to wet it up to get his interest.
He's 100% het for beautiful!

That big rat ought to make him move slow for a few days lol. If you smell rat near his enclosure, it's just him burping.

I have a 800g femle that I normally feed a small rat to (50g-85g). Last night I fed her a large rat that weighed 195g. Normally I feed smaller meals more often but I think she'll go at least 10 days before I feed her again. Needless to say she is huging the heat. The whole time I wathed her eat it I kept thinking about this post! lol
Cheers,
Trevor

lol, I just fed my BP a large rat. The biggest meal for him and only the third time that he has even had a rat. Got it all the way down in less than a half hour.
I have been feeding him three large mice per week but it is not cutting it anymore. I feed smaller meals too but I slip in a bigger one from time to time when he seems to want the extra bit. He'll eat anything that you put in front of him too. That's my boy
