Diet question

I have a few crested geckos and a friend of mine asked me if they can be raised on just a baby food diet. I didn't know for sure so if anyone does or knows what I should tell them pls let me know. Thanks a ton

They can be raised on a babyfood diet but you need to supplement for calcium, other nutrients and protein. Especially calcium if you have a female. However some cresties wont eat babyfood at all. You best alternative is to use T-Rex crested gecko diet, it's a powder that you mix with water, it has all the right nutrients in it. But like babyfood, crested geckos might not accept it at first. If they already accept babyfood then mix some CGD in it, then gradually use more CGD in each feeding until its completly CGD. Try to hand feed them with both, just so they can get a taste for it. Then go from there.

Hope this helps...and makes sense
