finally happened
well i awoke this morning and checked my snake cages as i always do, and lance was no where to be found! so i woke my brother and we stripped the room from one end to the other and finally found him. about four feet from his cage and in a my shoe ::shudder:: poor snake, why'd it have to be my shoe? either way hes home and safe. i almost smackked my bro b/c i tell him all the time to close and clamp the cage close and clamp the cage, but this time i think he learned his lesson!

wow, I'm really glad you found him that fast. you handled it exactly like you should have. escapes tend to be pretty humbling...I know I didn't have Hux's tank locked until he got out of it, then I stopped underestimating him!

Lucky you, if any of my snakes got loose they would become cat food.

thats the thing i was worried about, we have two hellacious kittens, and two passive old fat bags, luckily i keep my door closed, and lance is too big to fit under.

I'm glad to hear that you found him, having an AWOL snake is incredibly stressful, and it's always such a huge relief when it's located unharmed.
