Unhappy in mourning

well, i finally found Osiris. As i was in my home office working i heear alot of commotion from my non-english speaking housekeeper. Osiris had made his way out into the open and she killed him with the broomstick because he was a snake. he was only a year old not like a huge monster or anything. nonetheless to say she is fired( i had a spanish speaking neighbor even explain to her that my small python was out and not to hurt him. " si, ok, she said) well its not ok! that was my baby!!
im so upset. im crying and angry. i buried him under the tree behind my house.

please everyone double check your enclosures, i didnt think he would escape my snake locks but he did.

oh gosh, how tragic. it is a sad truth about human nature, though...to a lot of people, snakes are frightening and not pets.

Personally since you had someone explain to her that a snake was loose, and she killed it anyways.....I would have probably beat her a**..........then fired her. With holding her last paycheck for the cost of the snake and any vet bills I had while having him/her......I'm very sorry about your loss. It's hard losing one of your babies...

I would realy consider suing her becaus what she did if just like killing you dog because she had a fear of them. If she was worned and still came in for work then did that I am almost sure she can be sued
