I have a 5 month old bci, and his tail is brown. I was just wanting to know if his tail color would change with each shed. Basically, what I'm asking is if his tail will get redder.
Probably not, because B.c.i's have such a wide range thier tails colour can vary greatly. Some have very brigth red/orange tails with other can have almost black tails. It all depends on the local of your B.c.i
Actually, your BCI's tail is more likely to get darker as it ages. Only the BCCs have really bright red tails. All of our BCI have orangish-brownish tails as well.
