Wicked photos Kyle! Grandis rule!! Way cooler than a Leo! I remember when Day Geckos were $300 each!

Photography skills are great as well.

Out of the countless number of Phelsuma's I've had hatch over the years, I've only ever caught one in the process of hatching. It was such a fluke.

I had left work early and came home, for whatever reason I don't recall. Typical routine is to check the animals whever I get home and I noticed the little buggar half out of the egg (<i>Phelsuma standingi</i>). I quickly left the room to go get my camera and returned only a minute later and it was out running around.

These guys seem to hatch out even faster than Leopard Geckos (which I've caught hatching only a few more times than the Day Geckos).

Monitors are much easier to get hatching pics. I've had them stay pipped for 2 days, bu tusually you at least hav ethe better part of a day to catch them.....

I noticed that too Kendrick. When I did Day Geckos, the wouldn't even really pip! They just shot right out of the egg with pieces of shell flying everywhere!!

LOL, JK. Sort of...

Arrow

lol. I have seen them start to crack the egg, but nothing further... They seem to do everything fast, most of the time they are almost finished shedding by the time i find them crawling around in the incubator. Something to look forward to...

Linds: I wish i had my camara last year. I caught them doing it on the glass... I probably shouldnt go into too much detail
