would it not be better to keep the dog in another place? all those other animals i would think it would get constantly trying to escape to get a close look? i might be wrong.
sorry about the rats

its kinda like a shed attached to the house, cat pens are out there, breeder rodents and dog crates....the dogs are only in the crates when there is no one home or in the evening for bed time otherwise they are in the dog run.....which is attached to this shed, she escaped from her crate, killed the rats and then went outside to the run and even somehow closed the door behind her so she couldnt get back in....

It's such a pain! My dad in the past has left the basement door open (he's been leaving everything open...microwave, doors, cupboards, etc... ), and down in the basement is where my rodent rack is. It's happened twice now... the first time he killed off 13 rodents and set free a bunch of mice (which are now happily breeding in the walls of my house ). I no longer even utilize the bottom of the rack as a precaution It's frustrating, that's for sure. I'm so afraid one of the animals is gonna get out of the house with his carelessness
