Talking leaf toed gecko's........

Last night I heard some weird nosie's around the lizard cage's....and when I looked in the leaf toed tank to my surprize they were face to face and I watched there mouth's move as this sound came out ......they took turns doing it.

I have 2 leaf toed gecko's in my tank .....I did not know they did this...lol...I think it could either be a stress sound or a reproductive type of call......any thought's out there.

Thanks

iheard that thats how the gecko got its name, it sounds like they are saying gecko right? it could be just a thing they do to comunicate, like wolvrs howling, just my thoughts, im not a gecko keeper. -JAcob

It could be territorial behaviour. Or as you said possibly a mating "display". What sex are they? Are they adults?

Yes, knowing the sex of the animals here would help out A LOT in determining the reason for their 'talking'. =)
