Woo hoo my FIRST cage pics
Here it is, my very first cage. It measures 4.5 feet X 20 inches X 20 inches. It is half inch thick melamine and costed a whopping $25 for materials. I dont know how to post multiple pics, maby someone can help me out sometime. In the meantime here is a link that takes you directly to them, they are right on the left. Thanks, Jeff

Not bad! ![Smilie](http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif) You should have seen the first rack we built.. Horrible! You did much better than I could have ever thought doing!
How heavy is it? We had a rack made out of melamine, and it was so freaking heavy. ended up tossing it.

Nice work, Jeff. One thing you might consider is adding some type of reflector above the flourescent to get more UV to the uros. I hope to see them in there soon!

its actually not heavy at all, I was really surprised. But once you add about 50 lbs of sand and rock... It really adds up.

Awesome Jeff! I like the concept of the screened front with the opening door. Saves money on glass. I think I'll be ripping that idea off from you.
Looks like it would be a great cage for corns or kings as well, or pretty much any snake that A) isn't strong enough to break through the mesh, and B) doesn't require much for humidity.
Good looking cages man.

Thanks, I wanted to have as much ventalation as possible so I used mesh everwhere I could. Not to mention I will use this for Uromastyx, and If I used glass it would be like an oven with the 115F heat. Sorry ANACONDASAURUS but I dont really have plans lol, we just designed it as we went but if you do want some extra info on it just PM me and ill send you some.
