? about new baby
I have a baby that i got about a week ago, she was hatched on May 18. The strange thing about her is she doesn't seem to be picking one spot for a potty. The last couple of days she has gone in three different spots. And one spot isn't even in a corner or on the side of the tank.
Has anyone else had this happen?

Yes.
Occasionally my leos will go out of their routine spots even now. I'm pretty sure I remember it happening more when they are young. One thing that I have noticed is that if you clean up after them before the next time they go, they will often change spots. If a mess is still there, they will go right next to it or even on top.

Your gecko is very young, and you haven't had it all that long... I've noticed youngins tend to 'experiement' with different areas before becoming fairly set in their ways. Expect your baby to start using a regular spot soon! Congrats on the new addition!

Are they housed together? I have 4 baby leos in an enclosure together (they were born on the same day) and I noticed they too defecate all over the place. The ones that are housed alone usually poop in the same place.

I've noticed most of mine pick an open spot on the cool side, except for Murtle who poops in her terracotta hide, but she's a freak. I have two babies together and they haven't picked a solid spot yet but it's always over on the cool side.

She is housed alone. And yes, she usually goes on the cool side. My older female, however, always picks one corner on the warm side.
