People who really have nothing better to do than be annoying, stupid, spam or cause trouble in general :P

I'm sure someone else can offer a better definition....

Don't feed them, whatever you do

I think it ferrers to "trolling" for responses. Like if someone posted something like this...

I just got an ball python, can I keep it in a salad bowl under my bed?

Sometimes it's hard to tell if someone is asking a legitimate question or trolling. Some people don't know anything about herps and need to ask basic questions. This web site is great for people like that because it is very freindly around here. Someplaces, newbies get blasted because people think they are trolling and tell them off for asking ignorant questions.

Gee.. I hope that wasn't referring to my post. I was asking a question about hibernation, not about actually keeping them in the fridge. If it wasn't meant at me, sorry. The thread is here, if you want to see it. http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/showt...threadid=20369

Trolls also do things to deliberately bait you into arguments.

Example: How can you people keep these beautiful animals in cages? They should be wild and free!

(There are people who might legitimately feel this way, but only a troll would come onto a forum for herpers and say that.)

Lol ok. I didn't think it was meant at me, but I wanted to make sure you weren't making fun of me. I've actually heard you can hibernate them in the fridge from quite a few people now, so I'm going to try it. Better than freezing them outside in the garage...
