New house woes...
Arrgg.. I just bought a new house.. And guess what.. I can't get my enclosures into the designated snake room..... arrrgggg.. time for a sledge hammer...

I will remind myself when looking for a new home, never mind the bathroom or kitchen, just look at the width of the hallways and the size of the doorways! Basement stairs leave a lot to be desired, too.

Perhaps you could remove a window and push your cages through there, it would probably be better than smashing a wall.

If the cages aren't too wide, you could remove some of the door moulding from the houses door frames.
If not... window sounds good..

Or maybe you could designate a different room. But yeah, removing the door moulding will give you another 2-4 inches of leeway, and it's really easy to put back up.

Vanan and Katt bought a house!
And the kitchen and bathroom need work, to say the least. But the hallways and doorways are wide, lots of space.
We will post pics this evening, of the new home owners.

i will have the biggest problem when i wanna move out i have 4 cages that are 8x4x4 and then i have like 5 that are 4x2x2

Thanks for all the suggestions.. the only place i can put my kritters is in the basement.. the house is pretty small (my first one yay!!) and i need all the bedrooms for my family  Worst case i will just have to dissassemble a few 4x2x2 melamine enclosures and reassemble them in the basement.. i will try the trim but the house is older than probably everyone on this website ..

I have an idea but I don't know if it will work.......take everything out of the cage and put the cage on diagnal (sp ?) and try it through the door. Kind of like you would a couch??? Don't know if that helped...just an idea.....

I once built a cage and made it so big it wasn't even close to being able to get out the door of the room I built it in. I got so caught up in building it I never measured or even thought to.
