Thermometer

Is there a type of thermometer I can get that will stay on the outside of my cage and measure the temp on the inside with a wire or probe, and if so and I put the wire under the vynile flooring will this give me accurate temperatures? Where and how much are these thermometers?
THANKS

Wal Mart about 12-18$ depending on if it ready humidity or not. I have gotten all of mine from there. They also have them at any hardware store. Good luck Blueeheeler

You can also get those thermometers with a remote sensor. Radioshack carries them.

heres what i use....

the multiple sensors really make keeping an eye on things a lot easier, especially for temp/humidity sensitive animals...

THREE in one? That's nuts!! I wonder how far the remote goes and if it works through glass/plastic/wood?

Cool!

off course it does jeff....basically you can have 3 differenet sensors, in three different snake cages, in three different rooms of your house, and have your LCD display Screen on your lap in your neighbours backyard as you enjoy a nice bar-b-q and some cold canadian beer.
Youi can set it up so it will change from each sensors reading every 10 seconds or something. you can also set each sensors max / min's for both humidity and temperature, and an alarm will go off...
