Could it be???????

Hello i have put my female patternless Green Burm and my male Albino Burm in together they have been in together for about 3 months now. And for the last 2 week's my female has been in her hide box and does not like to be held any more she has put on alot of pounds in the last 2 week's. She come's out to drink and eat and then goes back in her hide box. She is about 10ft and 2 years old and my male is about 8 ft + and about 1 1/2 years old. Could it be that my female is cravid? could my male breed at his size and age?
(What do you guy's and girls think?)

And i have noticed that she is going into a shed she just shed 5 week's ago

It's possible that your male could breed at that size. It's also possible that your female may be stressed at having the male in the same enclosure with her.

Well before i put her in with my male i had her in with my big pattern female and she was fine then and i take them all out side and the always get along but you could be right i think after her shed if she does not act her self again i will move her back to her own enclosure.

She could be gravid. My question would be why you bred her at that age and size?

My vote is for stressed, not gravid. But if she is gravid, I wish you the best of luck, because 2 years seems to me to be way too soon for her t be shooting out babies, despite her size. I hope you don't end up with an egg-bound burm. Then again, burms are illegal where I live, so I'm certainly no expert.

didn't know that... sounds like you guys have strict rules out west. Make me sad since we were considering moving that direction

#1, I don't think She is stressed I have a big out door cage that they all go in on nice day's when i am out with them and they all get along fine.

#2 I did not try to breed them at this age i to thought that they were to young and would not breed.

#3 The only reason they were put together was that i am building a big enclosure for the 2 female's and i did not feel that it was right to keep the 2 big one's in the same cage so they could not move alot. And i put her in with him because like i said i thought they would not breed being that they are still young.

As it is she seems not to be gravid Because she is out and about and doing just fine i think it was the fact that she was in the middle of a shed
