Survivor

I was so glad to see this guy again today. A few months ago the condos where I work decided to add a few extra parking spaces on a small chunk of land that I knew had a gopher on it. I saw him the day before I went on vacation and didn't think they would do the work until I returned. Well, of course they did and I have wondered if he made it out safely to the adjoining undeveloped land next to us since. I am glad to see he did. He has made a new entrance at a safe place directly behind a concrete wall that surrounds a dumpster and next to the fence seperating the properties. He comes out to graze on the bahia grass and seems to be doing fine.

Geez, you know I could only guess that he's 12"- 14" overall in length Sean. Someday maybe I'll get a more accurate measurement.
