Showing off my PTS....Dill

This is my beautiful Corucia Zebrata, Dill (yes...as in Pickle).
Isn't she just soooo cute!!!
As you can tell by the food all over her face and floor and EVERYWHERE...she really enjoys her food!
I have had her since Easter weekend, 2003. She was a pet shop rescue...she's missing MANY of her toes...poor baby.
I'm in the process of building her a new cage...4ft x 4ft x 1.5ft...so everything in with her currently is temporary.
she's just the sweetest thing...and very docile for the most part...except when she's suffering from PSS (Pre Shed Syndrome) then she can be a little moody...but can't we all!

She is munching on a mix of greens...dandilion, romaine, beet, red lettuce, escarole, and endive...all chopped fine, then mixed with some pureed peas. She won't touch her greens if they aren't mixed with a litte bit of peas, or beans, or sweet potatoes. Sometimes I just stir in a little babyfood...and she dives right in.
The orange stuff is papaya, with a small amount of bee pollen mixed in.

I try to offer a variety of things for her to eat...veggies and fruit.
Her faves are green peas, papaya and cantaloupe. She LOVES cantaloupe...you have to be sure to keep your fingers out of the way once she realizes it's cantaloupe on her plate...she practically dives on it!!

She just really enjoys her food.
She's built like a snake with legs...and usually her belly is resting on the ground...so she gets it all over herself.

she is adorable! eats like my green iguana i see!!! LOL Kima Ra (japanese for "hey you") gets his food all over the place too! good luck with her! sorry to hear that she was another victim of a bad petstore. that's where i got Kimi. anyway, have fun with her!
