Do you take your reptiles to a vet???

I was just wondering how many people actually take their reptiles to the vet for normal checkups and fecal exams.

I have vets come to my house every week. Of course, it's different when you run a rescue. Not everybody needs such "hands-on" care.

I only seek out the vet when the animal is sick/injured beyond my own capabilities.

Ditto what Linds said. I may take certain newly acquired animals for a fecal etc, but that is not the norm.

This boa was nearly peeled like a bananna by a cat.
I did all the medical treatment, including sutires, so you can guess which way I voted!

I think the omen was rough with his toys, thus learning it himself

Most of the Vets in my area know less about reptiles than I do. Not knocking them- but they're mainly cats and dogs specialists.
