Food for silkworms

Other than mulberry leaves, is there a good home-made food for silkworms?

Mulberry leaves are what they live on. You may be able to sub, some other berry producing tree, but im not sure.

i have a couple mulberry trees around here, is it possible to take the berries and plant them? maybe i could get a bunch of trees going to give out on here?

Sounds like a nice thing to do, but it would take forever to grow big enough to provide enough leaves.

a couple seasons, and once i had a bunch growing, you can just separate the roots and have more
