They are very interesting and don't take up a lot of room. True you don't see them very much but at night if you set up a red or blk light you can watch them move around. But I agree it is not for everybody.

Wolf spiders are a little more active than most species of tarantula. A little more spastic too. I've kept a few different ones, this one big girl I have recently dropped an eggsack with god knows how many babies - I never counted them but there were many. I think she's gravid again, waiting to see if she makes an eggsack.



I don't even know what started my fascination with spiders and scorpions. It just sort of happened, but honestly, the chilean rose hair is about as generic of a tarantula as you can get. There are many other, far more fascinating species.
