2 different cricket species?>>



Are these two different cricket species or mutation?
The cricket on the left is bigger than the other with a bigger belly, has longer-bigger thighs and smaller antennae. It's chirp goes like "chirp...chirp...chirp" while the cricket's on the right chirp sounds like "chiiiiiiirpchiiiiiiirpchiiiiiiirp" and in higher octave (more like field's cricket chirping).
Any suggestions?

Ha ha. Both Acheta domestica. Male is on the left, female on the right (you can see her ovapositor).

How the heck did you get that picture? Freeze them? Glue them down?

lol ....i breed crickets 3 years...it's not the sex the subject here . I put them in the freezer then i put them on the scanner, white sheet above and voila. Then i fed my skink

In england they sell black crickets. Big heads, very shiny, easy to breed in small numbers...... Oh well

Yes but these crickets (Gryllus bimaculatus) have a hard exoskeleton and also big jaws comparative to the head that can heart any small lizard.

Finaly i found it! . It's another species of house cricket. It's common name is banded or tropical house cricket (Gryllodes sigillatus)
