Oasisreptile,

Here is a link to help you get started:

http://www.turtlecare.net/incubato.htm

Also, if you do a search in the enclosure forums for incubators, you will find several threads there.

Hope this helps.

...

All python eggs ('cept Chondros) can be incubated the same.

Not to be rude but that is defenetly not the best way of building/incubating u're eggs .. - its gives really bad advise.. like one .. snake egss CAN"T be turned...

another one is start ure incubator a few weeks b4 putting the eggs instead of after the eggs are put in .. temp fluctiations are bad..

Not sure how accurate the one to 10 ratio is aswell ..

NEWHO I'd look around for better sheets for an incubator setup..

Don't get me wrong .. the idea is there.. just not really well explained ..

The incubator should be turned on well before you get eggs.....My incubators get turned on at the end of Feb and I don't usually get eggs until April

You should mix the vermiculite with water at a 1:1 ratio as far as weight goes.........I don't really go by that though.....I just add water until a little drip of water drips out when you squeeze the vermiculite.

Also, pythons eggs can be turned without problems........I wouldn't do it all the time but you can do it every once in a while. I wouldn't advise that you move them at all once they are set up.........but if you drop the egg container and the eggs fall on the floor and roll all around.........if they aren't smashed up just put them back in the incubator........they'll hatch.
