Screwy computer...

My computer is acting up...
Anyway, I downloaded some new quicktime files (not sure if anything do do with it...) and then after the next time I booted up, my computer reset the resolution to 640x800 or whatever (largest one) and the colour to 16 colours. It won't change back! The resolution bar won't slide, and there is only 1 opion under the colours menu (16 colours...) It is hard to see anything, and it is hard to get around... Any help?
P.S., I am running Win 98

Send a message via ICQ to Burmies
You have to reinstall you v card drivers and then change the settings.

yeah, go to the control panel -> system and look at what it says for your video card. Chances are that it has reset to Standard VGA. Right click on it, select Update Driver and point it to c:\windows\system or where you keep your video drivers (e.g. cd etc).

That should fix it up. Hope this helps.
