Vey nice Grant, I am not actually a fan of the other types but really like the Blacks.
Is the temperment, size and cost the same as the others...
I think they are "reds"

Brian,
Considering the blacks are somewhat rare in Canada, the cost is usually more for most specimens.
Temperment is said to be better, i know mine are...and size is said to be smaller by a foot or so compared to reds.
Mine are still babies so im speaking from just what ive heard.

Very nice, one of the darkest I've seen. Do they lighten or darken with age? Or do they stay pretty much the same?

Im hoping mine turn silver
