Look what I found(awhile ago)

I found this pretty chameleon walking across a high way(yes, a high way) here in Florida. I found him almost two years ago now. He was one of the best herps I have ever kept! He was so interesting to watch and feed. It really sucks that he died on me though. The vet said he was just too old and died of natural causes. I think I might get back into Chameleons in a couple of years!

Incase you're wondering, the high way I found him on was SR17-92!

I loved that chameleon. I had it for almost 2 years before it's passing. We had a good run, it was very sad when he died though.

Yeah, but you probably saved his life, there are countless things that would delight in killing and eating a chameleon, not to mention cars and such.

He looks very healthy and happy, I'm pleased to hear he lived his final years in such great care!

Yea, we had to stop cars to pick him up! And boy, he was an eater! He would eat superworms, and anything else he could fit in his mouth, without a seconds thought! He was an eating machine!

One reason I think he had such great colors is, I used to take his cage outside everyday and he would get real unfiltered sunlight. I think that helped his colors become very bright.
