I am Chandra, a Ball Python Mom. I'm pretty new to the world of having a snake. My BP is Phobos, about 3 yrs old (previous owner didn't know). I got him about a yr ago from a friend. She loves animals but I don't think she took good enough care of Phobos, like he wasn't fed right (frozen mice), one paper towel in the bottom of a almost empty cage. Her heart was right with him but just not what he needed. Anyway, he has quadrupled in size since i got him, literally! Now he eats large live rats, has an enclosure full of substrate, rocks, driftwood and live plants, and even has a entire section for water (like his own swimming pool). He has the sweetest personality. He's very curious. He has a lot of iridescence color and random yellow dots, the rest is the normal browns, white and blacks.
