Nice to meet you! I am a first time Boa owner dealing with mites!

Hello, longtime lurker, thanks for letting me be a part of this wonderful community! So on April 15, after years of research, I picked up my first snake, a pastel morph BCI from Repticon. He has been awesome from the get go. He is curious, social (actually seems to enjoy meeting new people), and has never once tried to bite anyone or even hissed defensively. He likes to watch tv with me Everything was going fine for the most part until last week, I found mites in his water bowl, and also a few crawling on him. They must have just hatched and probably came from the reptile show as he has not had any contact with any other snakes since then and is my only reptile. I know, I should have treated him as soon as I got home regardless, that was my noob mistake. At this point it is important to note that I keep him in a 55 gallon bioactive vivarium using all materials bought from the Biodude. Fortunately I have neighbors who also keep boas, they lent me some of their natural chemistry stuff which I sprayed on him this past sunday, and put him in a temporary quarentine box. Seemed to work ok, but I know they are in the viv too. So I researched the best way to deal with them in bioactive vivs, and ordered a liter of hypoapsis miles mites (about 25,000). From what I hear, if done right, these will make your viv mite free in a few weeks. They arrived yesterday. Now here is where I am unsure of what to do next, as I've heard various opinions. Should I just dump the whole thing in or add a little bit each day? Also, my snake is still in the temporary bin, should I return him to the viv so he can draw out the mites and allow easy access for the hypoapsis? Sorry, I know this was a lot, if I need to post it somewhere else I will. Thanks in advance!
Here are some pics of Mittens, he is also pleased to meet you!

Welcome and best wishes Jess. Nice lookin boa you have there. I don't have any experience with predatory mites but I'm sure someone will chime in soon.
