my snake is not eating

hey

i have question my cali kingsnake was not eating this week, she like to stay in het shelter all day plus her eyes cloudy (shedding). but i dont have my snake for a long time this is the first time she refuses the food when do i need to offer her food again?
thanks btw i am 16 and this is my very first reptile

After she shed she will eat like a beast again, don't worry

TRD is right. It sounds like she's prepping to shed. That can take 7-14 days for most snakes. She should resume eating after she's shed. My snakes are usually extra hungry after shedding.

Yes. Snakes often do not take food when they are shedding. In the wild, they are extra vulnerable during shed because of decreased vision. Your snake will likely hide and fast until it sheds its skin.

Speaking of the shed...did you raise the humidity? Are you misting and/or providing sphagnum moss in its hot hide?

Besides getting it to eat, you don't want a bad shed either!
