New big cage for a big boy!
Qizils Boaphile! 1.jpg
Finally Qizil's Boaphile came in! In just about a month! Considering what I saw from all my tedious research that is about th estimated wait time, so pretty good!
I'll have to open up the thing and inspect it later when I have time, but I will definitely post more update pics after I get it all set up~ ! Then comes the task of waiting for Dad to get home so he can lug Sir giant-and-muscular into his new abode~
Then I can go about decking out Lingueeno's permanent digs as well once the big boy is moved over~ !
Toodles for now, folks!

Re: New big cage for a big boy!
I got the 6322D Combo Cage-- 6 footer.
It's in perfect condition-- not a scratch on it! Though it looks like they forgot to install the Flourescent Lights, which is a bit of a bummer. They still put in the heat pad though. Can't go without that!

Update for you guys-- Got it all unpacked, letting it air out so that brand new "chemical smell" is gone. Waiting until Sunday when my Dad's more available and the crates are cleaned out-- gonna finish setting it up then and put it on it's supports so it's off the floor.
It came in SUPER packed up; not a scratch on the thing! It was slightly dirty but nothing that a quick once over and clean with spray, paper towels and wipes didn't fix!
It came pretty much exactly how I wanted-- only thing is they forgot the Flourescent Lights. I did order and pay for them so Imma definitely call/email about that to see if I can get them shipped over, or at least get a refund for them though i honestly don't think they cost too much.
Overall I am a very happy customer~ ! Can't wait to get this bad boy set up and get the giant phat noodle into his new home! Then I can move Lingueeno over too.
Now to patiently wait for the time I can get my Carpet Python.

Nice looking cage, too bad about the lights. Shouldn't happen really.

Nice! Gotta love new enclosures. Hopefully they straighten out the lights for ya.

Re: New big cage for a big boy!
Thanks guys! I am very happy-- and I am quite sure the giant noodle with an attitude will be too once he gets moved into this massive thing!
With the lights, I called, we talked, and I got a refund~ No hissy fits, no fighting, nothing. He was very kind and understanding, apologized for the mistake and refunded me the full price of the lights, so I am either way a happy camper!
Not worried at all about the Flourescent Lighting cause I can buy/order those things just about anywhere and screw/fasten them into the thing myself. I'm just glad it came with the main heating element and without a single scratch!

Re: New big cage for a big boy!
Got an update for everybody!
Qizils finished cage!.jpg
Qizil's new cage is finished~ !
Got it all set up and stacked up properly, and the big handsome cranky noodle is in there now, checking his new digs and settling in! Still a little bumbed about the lighting, but the Heat Pad works so that's a plus!
If push comes to shove I might just find a way to jimmy-rig some flourescents in there, but for right now we're just seeing how it works~ !

Here's the big guy peeking out through the glass right after we put him in~
To note, yes there is some significant condensation in there, but thankfully the humidity is sitting nice and tight in a good range so I'm not worried!
I have an outside source of light from another heat lamp helping just in case (which you can't see in the above pictures) but for now, it's going just fine!

Re: New big cage for a big boy!
Thanks! I didn't wind up getting flourescent lights yet-- instead I have two heat lamps rigged up on a lamp stand, and they seem to be doing the job just fine!
I would still prefer only one real good lamp and bulb, or at least some flourescents I could put in there, but despite the Red-neck setup he is happy as a clam-- he shed a full perfect shed for me in there too, so this is working out fine! I'm just a bit of an OCD freak, hehe!
