I pick this up off Craigslist for $15.oo

An Exo Terra Dual Top Metal Terrarium Canopy 36"x8"x3.5"

I don't quit know what I'm going to do with it but I couldn't pass it up, not when the only other one I could find was a new one for $225.oo

Re: I pick this up off Craigslist for $15.oo

Nice-get a uv tube for one fitting and a grow bulb for the other and get some plants in one of your vivs-either Moe's or Fred's.

I got a similar bargin-a 39W Arcadia T5 luminere for £15. A fraction of retail...

Well I ordered all new lights for this thing... $56.28 worth... Still a pretty good deal $71.26 all together for a $225.oo canopy... I think Moe is going to be the big winner on this one... It only has one working bulb now, the Exo Terra 35 Watt Sun Glo Halogen Bulb and Moe snuggles up right under it...

Hahaha no worries, both my scaly friends are pretty low maintenance and don't need fancy lights

Ooooh I could always use a deal on horse stuff tho.

Re: I pick this up off Craigslist for $15.oo

I've got this light canopy set up to where I can move it between cages... So Moe gets it one day, and then Fred gets it one day, and Leon gets it one day also.. At Least 3 of my guys are getting a little UV light... Oh ya Crystal has her own small UV light... The only one not getting any UV light is George right now... He's still in his four foot cage until I get his new one ready...

@Skipper - Good to see someone else using that site. Fran Baines and her colleagues have done a huge amount of research in to reptiles and lighting - including UV - and her knowledge on the subject is incredible.

She is a member of one of the Facebook groups I am on so get to here the latest research first hand...

Re: I pick this up off Craigslist for $15.oo

@dannybgoode It really is an incredible source. I got it from a lady on another bearded dragon forum. She herself is very knowledgeable in regards to lighting, but this site is exceptional. I encourage anyone on these forums to check it out.

Is it an open Facebook group? If so, can you share the name? I think I got it at one point, but I didn't have a Facebook account until recently.
