Hello from me and my sunglow!
Hello everyone!
I'm new here and would like to show off my lovely 2014 Kahl Sunglow. It took me about a year to decide that I wanted to bring her home, as I was on the fence about getting a BCI. She was also very nippy and often sang me the song of her people if I tried to take her out to handle her. I was eyeing her brother, an albino as males are smaller, but I was in love with her colour. I eventually took the plunge and brought her home with me. She's now tame and my favourite snake to bring out to 'chill' with.
A Sunglow on a sunflower in the sun?
A recent picture of her
Thanks for stopping by ! =)

Re: Hello from me and my sunglow!
She's looking good! Females don't get too much bigger on average, but the potential is definitely there. Males can also get a decent size, but the females will be heftier (usually).
She's looking good, she's kept a nice pale background color.

Thank you!
Oddly I started out not very fond of boa's shape. I like long and slender snakes like colubrids and boas are about is "chunky" as I'm going to go. However I now find I really adore the shape and pattern of boas heads!

Thanks =D
I'm torn right now. I feel like she's the perfect size snake for tv snuggles. She just relaxes and falls asleep on me when I watch tv. When she's bigger it will be more difficult to do, but I'm also kind of excited to see her as a big girl!

Thank you! As far as I know, she doesn't have any jungle in her. Her siblings had more 'bowties' but I do agree that Nova has a pretty clean pattern. Here is a photo of her when she arrived in the store:
Do you have any pictures of yours? =)

Thank you! I tend to be attracted to brightly coloured snakes. But BCO are drop dead gorgeous too <3
