Ball
In the next couple of months I am wanting to get a Ball Python. I want to make sure I have a list of all the things I am going to need to be able to care for this snake.
Heat lamp
Heat Pad with temp display
bedding
hides
2x temp/1x humidity gauges
water treatment
1-2 water bowls
And possibly a way to turn the heat lamp on and off if the tank gets to a certain temp. Didn't know if anything like that exist.
If you have brands for items that work the best please let me know. Thanks!

Re: Ball
Don't forget about the thermostat to control your heating devices.

Yeah I was looking at those. Do they only work with heat pads or can I also set them up with the heat lamp?

Re: Ball
You can use them with heat lamps as well. It takes some correct prob positioning to dial it in. You'll also need a temp gun to check your temps in order to make sure your thermostat is set right.

Re: Ball
The correct temp should be between 80F - 84F. So you will have to center the probe for the thermostat to achieve that. Ball pythons will need belly heat preferably so you may want to consider that as well. The lamp will be to sustain your ambient temperatures but for adequate thermoregulation you should have belly or back heat.

Thermostat would've been my first choice.
