Re: Can someone help me with my florida king
Hi, the picture is really not that clear but looking at the patterning and coloration I would venture to say Eastern chain kingsnake. Is that a brownish color or black? If it's black I will go with Eastern chain. If it's brown then the animal may be a chocolate kingsnake. Just my opinion.

Re: Can someone help me with my florida king
Good luck! I adore my little brooks! Brooks and florida kings are EXTREMELY close both in habitat and personality. Some say they are the same snake but that one is a morph of the other lol.
Yours may be a cross, or may just be a hypo Florida =)
Either way, congrats and good luck!

Re: Can someone help me with my florida king
Thanks yeah I have no name for her. maybe you guys can give me some help? And I'm only guessing with sex he tail seems thin and tapers. I don't know how to probe and I don't do popping and no local herp vets near me. I transplanted from Los Angeles to utah. This is one of those times I miss LA for a local herp vet.

Re: Can someone help me with my florida king
I'd lean towards a cross as well. Eastern and California kings are the best match for pattern, Florida or Brooks for color.
You can usually sex a kingsnake by counting the number of scales between the vent and the tip of the tail. Males have counts over 140. Females under 130. For wiggly snakes, wait until you have a shed skin to look at.

Re: Can someone help me with my florida king
Brooksi integrade could be a brooks king naturally crossed with any other 'local' king types. That means there won't be any particular photo of a specific kind of integrade.

Re: Can someone help me with my florida king
Yuppers. I'd guess a true florida kingsnake crossed with a "brooksi" which is the integrade of a florida x eastern. Should've been more specific. Oops.
